Science & Actuarial & Financial Studies Summer School
Wednesday June 7th, 10.00am – 3.00pm
Places are now booked out on the Science Summer School but all students who attend the Sustainability Summer School will be offered the choice of also attending, on the same day, two 30 minute breakout sessions that are part of the Science Summer School. On arrival, students can choose two of the following 30 minute sessions:
- Biomedical & Biomolecular Science
In addition, we are finalising an exciting programme for the Computer Science Summer School on 8 June so if you are interested in any of the Mathematical subjects, we recommend this Summer School and there are limited places remaining
What happens on the day?
The day will include an exhibition, lectures and practical work in the areas of biological, biomolecular and biomedical sciences, chemistry, earth and environmental sciences, physics, mathematics and actuarial science.
Who can register?
The Summer School is for students who are going into 6th year or Year 13 (A Level) in September 2023.
What does it cost?
The UCD Science Summer School costs €35 and includes a sandwich lunch and tea/coffee. A reduced rate of €15 is available for applicants whose families are in receipt of job-seekers or disability payments.
