Sustainability Summer School
Wednesday June 5th, 9.30am – 3.00pm
For students interested in studying Sustainability at UCD.
This Summer School is for students interested in studying Sustainability at UCD. The UCD Sustainability Summer School programme will be held on Wednesday, 5 June 2024 in the UCD O’Brien Centre for Science. The programme includes taster lectures, an active learning project and a campus field trip and will introduce students to the following degree subjects:
- Sustainability with Environmental Sciences
- Sustainability with Social Sciences, Policy & Law
- Sustainability with Business & Economics
What happens on the day?
The programme starts at 9:30am where students will attend taster lectures, an active learning project and a campus field trip learning about Sustainability and the integrated interdisciplinary approach required in sustainability research, policy and practice.
The timetable will be emailed to all registered students the week before the Summer School.
Who can register?
The Summer School is for students who are going into 6th year or Year 13 (A Level) in September 2024.
What does it cost?
The UCD Sustainability Summer School costs €35 and includes a sandwich lunch and tea/coffee. A reduced rate of €15 is available for applicants whose families are in receipt of job-seekers or disability payments.
