What happens on the day?
The Engineering Summer School offers a firsthand glimpse into life as a UCD Engineering student. Dive into the dynamic world of engineering through engaging lectures and hands-on practical sessions. Experience a taste of the diverse Engineering disciplines available at UCD. Plus, gain valuable insights into the pivotal roles engineers play in industries like mechanical, energy, electrical, and electronics through our careers talk.
Who can register?
The Summer School is for students who are going into 6th year or Year 13 (A Level) in September 2024. Students must be taking Mathematics and a Laboratory Science subject at Higher Level in the Leaving Certificate or equivalent in order to participate.
What does it cost?
The UCD Engineering Summer School costs €35 and includes a sandwich lunch and tea/coffee. A reduced rate of €15 is available for applicants whose families are in receipt of job-seekers or disability payments.
