Dublin is served by Dublin International Airport and UCD is approximately a 20 minute drive from the airport.There are frequent connecting buses from the airport to the City Centre.

TRANSPORT
Heuston Train Station: Direct bus services now connects Heuston Station with University College Dublin (UCD), offering 45 trips per day during peak hours. The new services operate on seven routes: X25, X26, X27, X28, X30, X31 and X32.
Connolly Train Station: You can take the DART service southbound to Sydney Parade station, where there will be a free shuttle bus service from and to Sydney Parade Dart Station throughout the day, from 9am to 4.30pm. Alternatively, you can take the DART service southbound to Blackrock Dart station, where the S6 regularly runs services to and from UCD.
Dublin Bus: Over 20 bus routes serve the Belfield campus, linking UCD to the city centre and suburban areas. The Belfield campus is also served by three 24 hour bus routes that run 7 days a week; the 39a from the campus bus terminus and the E1 and E2 from the main entrance. The S4 bus serves areas including Liffey Valley, Crumlin, Terenure, Rathgar & Miltown and the S6 bus serves Tallaght, Knocklyon, Rathfarnham, Nutgrove and Blackrock. The S4 and S6 both stop at bus stops within campus.
By Car: UCD has carparks throughout the Belfield and Blackrock campus. Parking on campus is free for the day and Open Day staff will be on hand to give directions. We will also be operating a free Park & Ride from the UCD Blackrock Campus. See Car Parks Map here.
